Schedule Details: Primarily Monday - Friday 1st shift with flexibility needed 

 

What You Will Do:


The Behavioral Health Services Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of behavioral health services provided by the Outpatient and Integrated Behavioral Health Services departments.  The functions include the provision of appropriate clinical services delivered to persons who seek: behavioral health screening, urgent or emergent assessments, psychiatric admission, and consultation.  These services integrate into the overall functioning of the PHC system. 

 

Other responsibilities include:

Monitoring satisfaction survey scores and patient comments for trends, and communicates to staff
Participates in proactive development and assures implementation of new strategies to improve the customer experience.  Responds to customer complaints – investigates, corrects, and performs service recovery
Acts as a practitioner, educator, supervisor, consultant, researcher, and clinical expert that provides and improves care for Behavioral Health, and works to enhance and improve the clinical skills of the members of the department
Interacts and collaborates with department staff, patients, physicians and leaders to ensure timely resolution of inter-departmental issues.
Monitors the clinical services being provided by the department for quality, consistency and efficiency.
Facilitates compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS standards, DHS program certification requirements and external measures through leadership, mentoring, role modeling and expert consultation.
Contributes to the development of resources identifying Behavioral Health services within the greater community for the department.
Assists department staff with the development and structuring of plans for clinical and vocational growth and development, to incorporate individual and departmental goals.
Provides direct clinical supervision as needed toward completion of supervised practice hours for credentialing purposes.
Provides input to Manager and Director for capital, operating and staffing budgets. Provides fiscal oversight of allocated resources, assets and expenses. Makes recommendations to adjust for variations in projected budget income caused by fluctuating volumes and other external forces.
With input and support from the Manager and Director, responsible for effective hiring, orientation, training, mentoring and coaching of staff, to ensure a well-trained, high performing team.

 

What You Will Need:

Master’s Degree
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Substance Abuse Counselor, preferred
4+ years of experience
Business background, highly desirable
Valid driver's license
