ProHealth Care is proud to employ nearly 200 advanced practice providers (APP) – nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Our practices span Waukesha County and the surrounding region with primary care and specialty care provided at ProHealth Medical Group Clinics.

Through partnership between primary care physicians and an advanced practice provider, communication and faster access to care is enhanced.

    Allied health professionals play a key supporting role as technicians, technologists and therapists.Technologists are trained to perform procedures - diagnostic radiology, lab and cardiovascular technicians, are examples of careers in this category.

    Many allied health care professionals work collaboratively with our providers, including surgeons, radiologists, nurses and pharmacists. Their role centers around evaluating and assessing a patient’s needs, keeping our patient’s physician and the care team informed while delivering compassionate care for each and every patient they serve. Some work independently as therapists in exercise, nutrition, health education, speech and daily function.
