Schedule Details: Day shift position. Salary and benefits are competitive. Start date flexible, but otherwise immediate following hire and credentialing.  

 

The Neuropsychology Service at Waukesha Memorial Hospital is inviting applications for an immediate opening for a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. Candidates must have successfully completed doctoral training and pre-doctoral internship training in APA or CPA-approved programs, as well as a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuropsychology in a medical setting. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong foundation of general clinical skills in evaluating and treating children and adolescents with a range of psychiatric and medical conditions. Completion of national licensure (for Wisconsin license eligibility) is required. Eligibility for board certification strongly preferred. Candidate must also meet eligibility requirements of WMH Medical Staff.

 

Responsibilities are primarily outpatient clinical assessment with a variety of medical and psychiatric populations, as well as supervision and training of practicum students. Opportunities for research are also available if desired. The candidate would join a thriving practice consisting of three adult neuropsychologists and one pediatric neuropsychologist.

Waukesha Memorial Hospital is a growing 300-bed medical hospital located in suburban Milwaukee, serving a large western suburban community. We have a comprehensive behavioral health program for children and adolescents, with close liaison with area schools. Salary and benefits are competitive. What You Will Do:

The Neuropsychology Service at ProHealth Care Waukesha Memorial Hospital is inviting applications for a Clinical Neuropsychologist position. Candidates must have successfully completed doctoral training and pre-doctoral internship training in APA-approved programs, as well as a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology in a medical setting.  Preference will be given to candidates with a strong foundation of general clinical skills in evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients with a range of neurological, medical and psychiatric conditions. The position is situated within a very successful Neuropsychology Service staffed with one other adult provider and two pediatric providers.  Completion of national licensure (for Wisconsin license eligibility) is required.   Eligibility for board certification (ABPP) strongly preferred.  Candidate must also meet eligibility requirements of ProHealth Care Medical Staff. 

 

Responsibilities are primarily clinical (assessment and intervention) with a variety of medical and psychiatric populations, and experience with inpatient consultation-liaison to medical and rehabilitation units is highly desired.  Neuropsychology services are an integral part of multidisciplinary care clinics diagnosing and treating dementia, TBI, and other specialty clinics in our Neurosciences program. There are ample opportunities for research and collaboration with variety of specialists in this position.
