Schedule Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with additional hours as needed 

 

What You Will Do:

The Major Gift Officer advances the mission and strategic priorities of ProHealth Care by increasing the level of philanthropic commitment from donors. This position develops and implements cultivation strategies for a portfolio of current donors to assure strong donor relations, securing continued major and planned gifts. He/she identifies new opportunities for financial support and communicates the compelling needs to best align donor interest. The Major Gift Officer identifies and qualifies new prospects to develop a robust donor pipeline.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher required. May consider experience & education in lieu of degree.
  • At least 5 years of related experience with donors who have major philanthropic interests.
  • Consideration may also be given to candidates with high-level sales experience instead of fundraising experience.
  • Proven history of closing major gifts of $25,000 and above from individual donors.
  • Healthcare fundraising experience preferred, but not required.
  • Capital Campaign experience preferred, but not required.
