Outpatient medical oncology is a busy department with patients being seen in clinic by a provider, either a Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner. In addition we provide infusion services which may include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, or other IV therapies. Our clinic staff is made up of Nationally Certified Oncology RN’s, Oncology Nurse Navigators, LPN’s and secretarial staff to take care of patient needs.

Schedule Details: Monday through Friday 8-1630. Option to work remotely. 

 

What You Will Do:

The Oncology Accreditation Coordinator acts as a subject matter expert understanding the expectations of the Oncology accrediting organizations to provide continuous guidance throughout the Cancer Center in an effort to achieve the highest marks during these assessments.  Through their vast knowledge of the accrediting organization’s expectations, this position will serve as a point person when surveyors are on site and is responsible for follow-up, reporting results, and planning for upcoming surveys to ensure continuous improvement within the Cancer Center.

 

You Will Need: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Commission on Cancer (COC),(NAPBC), (QOPI) Standards; previous survey experience recommended.
