We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant/HUC, Inpatient Oncology, 0.6 FTE 8 HR PMs 1 

 

The Inpatient Oncology unit is an 18 bed unit providing patient & family-centric nursing care, support, and education to oncology, hematology, end-of-life, and thoracic oncology patients and their families. Our approach is interdisciplinary and holistic, as the emphasis is on the entire the focus is on the mind, body, and spirit along their care continuum.  The nursing team works in collaboration with our Physicians and Advance Practice Nurse partners. The unit is supported by 35 staff, including 20 RNs, 11 CNAs, and 3 HUCs, in addition to a Staff Development Specialist and Patient Care Manager.  Frequent procedures include administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV fluids, growth factors, IV insertion and management including port access.        

 

Shift Details: 0.6 FTE, 8 Hour PMs. 3-8 hour days per week. Hours 3pm -11:30pm. Every other weekend, every other holiday rotation.
