Behavioral Health Therapist - Outpatient Behavioral Health - 0.6 FTE, days/evenings - $5,000 bonus

 We Are Hiring: Behavioral Health Therapist - Outpatient Behavioral Health - 0.6 FTE, days/evenings - $5,000 bonus  

 

This opportunity includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for a 2 year commitment to our team. 

 

Schedule: This is a recurring Monday and Tuesday position (3:00-11:30 PM) with additional evening shift between 6:30AM and 11:30 PM (for a total of 3 work days per week). One in four weekend rotation (covering Saturday and Sunday for 8 hr shift). Approximately two holiday shifts per calendar year. Additional hours across the behavioral health continuum of services available. The position will be located at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

What You Will Do: 

The behavioral health therapist provides mental health and substance use services to ProHealth Care patients and their families. Primary responsibility will be to assess the behavioral health needs of those presenting to the emergency department and provide mental health and substance abuse consultation to patients on the medical floors of the hospital. Responsibilities include bio psychosocial interview to establish DSM-5 diagnostic impression, determine appropriate level of care, perform crisis intervention, and when clinically appropriate facilitate admission to Waukesha Memorials psychiatric inpatient unit. This position requires engagement in a collaborative care model which will involve coordinating a treatment plan with nurses, physicians, social services, law enforcement, etc.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with emphasis in behavioral health related field (clinical social work, counseling, etc)
  • Meets State of Wisconsin requirements for CAPSW, LCSW, LPC-IT, LPC, or LMFT (or ability to obtain within six months of hire)   
  • Completion of Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training within (6) months of hire
  • 1-2 years post-graduate experience in the field of mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment *CA #LI-MO
