Dosimetrist – Radiation Oncology

As a dosimetrist, you’ll play a vital role in the fight against cancer, using advanced radiation treatment planning to help ensure precise, effective, and safe care for our patients.

What You’ll Do

• Design and calculate customized radiation treatment plans to deliver safe and effective therapy
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to optimize patient care
• Perform dose calculations and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Assist in brachytherapy procedures and provide technical expertise in radiation safety
• Guide and educate radiation therapists on treatment plan implementation

What You Bring

• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification within 18 months of hire
• ARRT certification in radiation therapy (RTT)
• Two or more years of experience in medical dosimetry- preferred, new graduates with Eclipse training welcome
• Strong skills in radiation therapy planning systems, dose calculations, and quality assurance
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care
