Schedule Details: Typically M-F; Shift hours vary from 8-10 hrs; Shift start times vary from 0700-0900. No planned weekend or holiday hours. Required to provide 4 days of availability per month. More days may be requested as need arises but no obligation to fulfil more than the required 4 days per month
What You Will Do:
Promote positive patient outcomes and satisfaction by optimizing support of oncology providers' decision-making with evidence-based, safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical based therapies. In addition, provide direct patient education for oral chemotherapy regimens and follow-up monitoring for compliance and toxicity management.
Requirements:
- Specialized expertise in Oncology Pharmacy
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred
- Hold currente license to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin (or license eligible)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
- Valid WI driver's license and in good standing
- Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
