Outpatient medical oncology is a busy department with patients being seen in clinic by a provider, either a Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner. In addition we provide infusion services which may include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, or other IV therapies. Our clinic staff is made up of Nationally Certified Oncology RN’s, Oncology Nurse Navigators, LPN’s and secretarial staff to take care of patient needs. 



Schedule Details: Monday - Friday varied day shifts. The primary location will be Pewaukee with occasional shifts at OMH or Mukwonago. Weekend shifts will also be required every six weeks. 


What You Will Do:

The Cancer Center Nurse is responsible for creating personalized treatments for every cancer patient. It is the driving force behind all we do.  The Clinical Nurses’ provide integral support to our providers by: 

  • Providing education: IV and oral chemotherapy, surgeries, new medications
  • Triaging patient phone calls
  • Providing intervention and evaluation of patient needs
  • Collaborating with other team members to develop care plan for patients to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Follow up with patients on lab and scan results
  • Anti-coagulation follow up
  • Coordination of chemo admissions to hospital
  • Coordinating combined chemotherapy/radiation regimens with radiation treatment

What You Will Need:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
  • Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience, preferably in oncology*CA #LI-MO
