 We Are Hiring: Surgical Technologist - Oconomowoc - .9 FTE (Days) 

 

The Surgical Services Department at ProHealth Care is dedicated to compassionately and professionally serving our patients in a manner that demonstrates excellence in professionalism, positive communication, honor and integrity, built in an environment of trust, knowledge, understanding and teamwork.

The 7 Operating Room suites at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital see an average of 3000 procedures annually. General/vascular, Orthopedics, GYN and ophthalmology are the primary procedures performed here. This team performs approximately 100 Orthopedic Mako Robotic procedures annually

 

Schedule: This is a 36 hour work week. The position is located at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital; primary location. The hours are flexible from 6:30am to 7:00pm. Scheduled days of week will vary based on department needs within a 6 week schedule period.

 

Pay: From $20/hour (Increases with experience and certification) 

What You Will Do:

 

The Surgical Technologist functions as the scrub person. Works under the direct supervision of an RN or physician to facilitate safe and effective care during invasive and operative procedures. They ensure that the OR is safe, equipment is functioning properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Facilitates a physician's performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Associates Degree
  • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technologist program CST preferred or equivalent military training program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), or the ability to obtain upon hire
