Job Summary
What You Will Do:
You will function as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for case cart preparation, sterilization processes and accountability and care of surgical instruments and equipment. The Core Tech also performs tasks related to supply distribution in the surgery area which includes: monitoring and maintaining controls of materials, placing orders, receiving, stocking, and distributing and packing as needed.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support Card through the American Heart Association or ability to obtain the card upon hire
- Surgical Tech, Sterile Instrument Tech, or previous experience preferred
