Registered Nurse - Wound & Ostomy
What You Will Do:
The Wound & Ostomy Nurse will function as part of the Wound Care program as a consultant to establish standards of care and clinical competence to meet the needs of each patient. The Wound & Ostomy will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of patients relative to their ostomy care, skin needs and wound care needs.
The Wound, Ostomy (Continence, optional) Nurse expert serves as a resource or consultant to patients, physicians, and team members for wounds, ostomies, incontinence and actual or potential skin breakdown.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
- Basic Life Support (CPR) from American Heart Associate, or ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Medical/Surgical or Inpatient Wound experience preferred
- Wound, Ostomy certification within 6 months of hire
