We Are Hiring: Clinical Nurse II, Outpatient Department- WMH- 0.8 FTE 

 

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a collaborative team environment and excellent work-life balance? Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled, supportive Outpatient Department!

 

Hospital-based outpatient department. Every day is different. Outpatient provides services to patients for non-oncology infusion, injections, dressing or central line changes and physician follow ups. 
Previous experience with IV medications and IV starts a plus.  



 

Schedule: The schedule would be 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, working 8-hour shifts. The unit has staggered start times between 0700-0830. Weekend hours required every 5th weekend working 0730-1130 with on call hourly wage. Only 1-2 holidays per year working no later than 1200.

 

Full Time / Part Time: Part Time with Benefits

FTE: 0.80

What You Will Do:

The Clinical Nurse is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families.  Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations.  These nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by staffing matrices.  These nurses also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised. 

 

What You Will Need:

Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License

Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain during orientation

Previous experience with IV medications and IV starts a plus.
