Join ProHealth Care’s Occupational & Employee Health team as a Clinical Support Associate. In this role, you’ll support Occupational and Employee Health services across our nine locations throughout Waukesha County.

 

This is a great opportunity for an MA, EMT or LPN who enjoys variety, is comfortable working with different teams and locations, and wants a daytime schedule outside of a traditional inpatient setting.

Your schedule & locations

 

This 0.8 FTE position is scheduled for 32 hours per week during Monday–Friday clinic hours of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

 

You’ll travel between all nine ProHealth Care Occupational & Employee Health locations throughout Waukesha County based on clinic needs. Following orientation, the goal is to develop a more regular schedule while maintaining flexibility to support the different clinics.

 

Saturday coverage is rare and may be needed during flu season. Our Occupational & Employee Health clinics are closed on major recognized holidays.

 

What you’ll do

 

As a Clinical Support Associate, you’ll support providers and patients with the hands-on clinical and administrative work that keeps the clinic moving. You’ll:

  • Room patients, obtain vital signs and prepare patients for their visit
  • Document patient information and care in Epic
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures, treatments and follow-up needs
  • Support Occupational Health and Employee Health visits, screenings and testing
  • Assist with pre-employment and employee health requirements
  • Support work-related injury and Occupational Health visits
  • Help coordinate and process FMLA and other employment-related medical paperwork
  • Support OSHA-related documentation, screenings and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate with patients, employees, providers and other members of the care team
  • Maintain accurate documentation while helping keep clinic workflows organized and efficient

 

 

 

 

What you’ll need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant, EMT or LPN background that meets ProHealth Care’s Clinical Support Associate requirements
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Strong clinical skills, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs and documenting accurately in Epic or another electronic medical record
  • Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a busy clinic environment
  • Strong organization, communication and attention to detail,
