Department Assistant – Senior Health Center
Schedule: Full Time | 1.0 FTE | Days
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
No weekends or holidays

What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and families with professionalism and compassion.
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments while coordinating provider calendars.
- Answer incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner.
- Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other administrative documents.
- Maintain organized records and assist with data entry, filing, copying, and document preparation.
- Order office supplies and assist with department operations and meeting coordination.
- Support providers and staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous administrative or healthcare office experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office; electronic medical record experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
What You Will Do:
Responsible to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties in an organized, timely and accurate manner.
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related experience preferred.
