Schedule Details: Eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus!
This is a 7/70 position on 3rd shift. The schedule begins on Wednesday and goes through the following Tuesday 2030-0700
7 days worked followed by 7 days off, to equal 70 hours worked each pay period.
8 hours of supplemental "7/70" pay is included each pay period to make a total of 78 hours of compensation.
In addition to the 26 weeks of time throughout the year not scheduled to work, the position is given 52 hours of PTO.
Holidays that fall on scheduled 7 day stretch are worked holidays.
This position is a Generalist, working in all benches of the WMH Lab: Blood Bank, Hematology, Coag, Urinalysis, and Chemistry/Blood Gasses. Familiarity with specimen processing is a bonus.
All training, approximately 12 weeks, will be scheduled on 1st shift and will be completed before joining the night shift. Either an MLS or MLT candidate is acceptable and experience is preferred, but not required

ProHealth Care offers a system-wide laboratory operation with core hospital labs at Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial as well as two clinic-based laboratory sites in Waukesha County. The laboratory performs over 8 million tests annually.
Our Lab services operate state of the art facilities and include clinical testing in the areas of Histology, Cytology, Hematology, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunoassay, Microbiology, Transfusion service, EIA, and Molecular Biology. ProHealth Care offers a vibrant outreach program, providing laboratory testing to numerous specialty hospitals, physician offices, nursing home, and assisted living facilities. Our Pathologists and PhDs work closely with lab employees to monitor quality, as well as identify, access, and implement new technology. The Laboratory has certification and accreditation through the College of American Pathologists (CAP), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).

This position is a 1.0 3rd shift generalist position. Hours are 10:30pm-7:00am. Weekends (Friday-Saturday) are every other and holidays are 3 per year based on set rotation. Current start times may vary in the future based on business needs. This position will rotate between all laboratory departments (Hematology/Coagulation, Chemistry/Urinalysis and Blood Bank). All training, approximately 12 weeks, will be scheduled on 1st shift and will be completed before joining the weekend/holiday rotation. Either an MLS or MLT candidate is acceptable and no experience is required
Medical Technologists, or Medical Laboratory Scientists, perform moderate to high complexity testing within the Clinical Laboratory. Prepares samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation. Performs numerous complicated tests simultaneously; accurately evaluates correlates and interprets test results.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or MLS or Associate's in Medical Lab Tech (MLT)
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) needs to be obtained within 6 months, or
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) needs to be obtained within 6 months
- Under approved circumstances, an extension may be granted for an additional 6 months.
