Clinical Support Associate II – Weight Management, Bone Health & Men's and Women's Midlife Clinic

 

0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) | Days | Monday-Friday | 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
WestWood Health & Fitness Center – Pewaukee

In this role, you'll partner closely with providers caring for patients in Weight Management, Bone Health, and Men's & Women's Midlife Health. You'll build lasting relationships with patients while supporting wellness, healthy aging, preventive care, and chronic disease management in a collaborative outpatient setting. What You'll Do:

  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits by obtaining vital signs, updating medical histories, medications, and health maintenance information.

  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, medication administration, injections, and point-of-care testing.

  • Perform EKGs, specimen collection, therapeutic treatments, and other clinical duties within scope of practice.

  • Document patient care accurately in Epic and assist with prescription refills, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up.

  • Educate patients on provider instructions, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle recommendations.

  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, medications, and equipment while supporting a safe and efficient clinic environment.

  • Collaborate closely with providers and teammates to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Current Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN certification/licensure (or equivalent clinical training).

  • Current BLS certification.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • If not certified/licensed, a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience may be considered.

  • Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and patient service skills.
