Medical Assistant, EMT or LPN – Neurology Full Time | Days

As a Clinical Support Associate, you'll become an important part of our Neuroscience team, supporting providers and patients through every step of their visit. Whether you're an experienced Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or beginning your healthcare career with the required education and credentials, you'll find a supportive environment where you can continue to grow your clinical skills.

 

Schedule

• Full Time | 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Day shift (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No evenings, weekends or holidays
• Hours may vary slightly based on provider clinic schedules
• Primary work location is the Neuroscience Center at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with some travel to our Sussex clinic

What you'll do

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
• Obtain vital signs, update medical histories and document in Epic
• Assist providers with examinations and office procedures
• Coordinate patient care, education and follow-up
• Help maintain an efficient clinic workflow while providing an exceptional patient experience
• Travel between our Waukesha and Sussex clinic locations as needed

 

What you'll need

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Wisconsin EMT, or equivalent education and/or experience meeting role qualifications
• Current applicable certification, registration or licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
• Strong communication skills and a team-first approach to patient care
