Department Support Associate – Weight Management, Bone Health, Men's & Women's Clinic

Part Time with Benefits | 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week)

 

Monday-Friday | Days
Hours of operation are 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients and create an exceptional experience from arrival through checkout.

  • Register patients, verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information in Epic.

  • Schedule appointments in EPIC while coordinating multiple specialty clinic providers.

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions.

  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other team members to keep clinic operations running smoothly.

  • Process payments, maintain patient confidentiality, and support daily front office operations.

  • Help maintain an organized, professional, and patient-centered environment.

 

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Two years of experience in a medical office, patient registration, or healthcare customer service role.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR); Epic experience preferred.

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
