We Are Hiring: Certified Nursing Assistant - WMH Day Surgery- Pool/As Needed 

 

Schedule: Day surgery CNA opportunity to work Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. Hours of shifts are 900-1730 and 1100-1930. Position may require cross training to other perioperative departments as needed.

 

Pay: From $18/hour

 

The Day Surgery Unit is a 24 bed Outpatient/Ambulatory Surgery unit.  The staff provide pre and post-operative/procedural care to Surgery, Interventional Radiology and select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services.  An average of 30 patients per day begin in day surgery with the majority of patients being discharged the day of their procedure and some admitted to critical or inpatient units.

 

Full Time / Part Time: Pool/As Needed - no Benefits

What You Will Do:

We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide support to the staff and patients on the unit.  Qualified candidates will work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients. Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes.  

 

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
  • Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification. 
  • Must have a strong interest in customer service, able to multi task, work independently with little supervision.
