Schedule Details: Typical hours will range from 0730-1600 with hours flexing as required. Rare weekend and later afternoons will be needed. Travel to the various sites is necessary.
Job Summary
A distribution supervisor oversees all aspectes of the warehouse's distribiution operations, manages staff, coordinates inventory levels, ensures timely order fulfillment, and optimizes efficiency by assigning tasks, monitors performance and resolves any discrepencies to guarantee smotth product delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
Staff Management: hires, trains and supervises warehouse personnel, including assigns tasks, performance evaluations and addresses employee concerns. Handles staff performance-related sissues in collaboration with manager of logistics and in accordance with Human Resources policies and procedures. Possess the ability to promptly address and report unacceptable behaviors. Maintains open communications with staff, peers, and other departments to assure cooperation and collaboration.
Required Skills: Demonstrates strong leadership and commuinication skills to manage a team effectively. Demonstrates the ability to use critical thinkings skills to identify and resolve operational issues. Develops and maintains human relation skills with hospital employees, pateitnsk, medical staff and visitors in the performance of duties in order to establish good gues relations in complianc with the ProHealth Experience. Willing to make timely decisions, considers aleternatives and selects effective solutions. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to trabvel between campuses as needed and be flexible with hours and shifts. Excellent organization and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Operational Efficiency: Implements and monitors procedures to optimize warehouse space utilization, productivity and cost-effectiveness. Support the implementation of solutions to department level changes. Provides weekly summary of assigned requests to department leader. Willingness to make timely decisions, considers alertnatives and selects effective solutions. Creates and maintains employee work schedules and ensures adequate staffing. Assigns and distributes work among department employees based on their skills, training and experience. Collaborates with carriers, suppliers and other departments to ensure smooth product flow and timely deliveries.
Safety Compliance: Maintains a safe environment and enforces safety protocols and addresses potential hazards. Ensures quality and productivity standards are achieved and maintained.
Inventory Control: Maintains accurate inventory levels by tracking stock; manages stock rotations, conducts cycle counts and identifies discrepancies. Demonstrates proficiency in warehouse management system.
• Working knowledge of computer skills. Lawson, Kronos, Agiltrac, SuccessFactors.
• Gives weekly summary of assigned requests to department Supervisor, Manager or Director.
• Assist with training staff as needed.
• Perform quality checks.
• Must be able to address and report unacceptable behaviors.
• Must go cross campus as needed and be flexible with scheduled hours and shifts.

Preferred Education Level: Associates degree or equivalent work experience
What You Will Do:
Creates employee assignments, maintains staff work schedule, monitors performance of staff and assists with job functions as needed. Ensures that assignments are being completed and in a timely manner. Helps monitor and maintain inventory levels.
What you will need:
- High school diploma; Associates degree or higher and/or equivalent work experience
- At least 3-5 years of related distribution/inventory management experience in healthcare setting
- At least 2-4 years of healthcare experience
- At least 2-4 years of previous leadership experience
- JIT Operations and Distribution Warehouse experience preferred
